Vibe Marketing

Category that took public shape between 2024 and 2025 to describe operating the brand as a system rather than as a series of campaigns.

The term emerged through multiple voices: Andrej Karpathy (vibe coding as matrix, Feb 2025), Greg Isenberg + James Dickerson + Jordan Mix (movement formalization), Rob Cressy (VIBE Framework). Believe Global doesn't claim authorship of the term; it claims methodology — MAAS™ — to operate it in LATAM enterprise brands.

Vibe coding

Concept introduced by Andrej Karpathy (OpenAI co-founder) in February 2025: human gives creative direction, AI executes technical details.

Cultural matrix from which 'vibe marketing' was derived. The underlying mechanic — human directs, machine executes — applies to software development in vibe coding and to marketing in vibe marketing. Karpathy didn't coin the term 'vibe marketing'; others did, deriving it from his concept.

02 · MAAS — METHODOLOGY

BELIEVE OWNED

MAAS — Marketing as a System

Marketing operating system developed by Believe Global since 1998. 10 frameworks, 3 phases, 90 days, auditable ROI.

MAAS is the methodology that runs what's now called Vibe Marketing in LATAM enterprise brands. It organizes the brand into 5 layers (perception, narrative, conversion, automation, network), implemented through 10 proprietary frameworks. Installation takes 90 days in 3 phases of 30. At close, the system stays running in the brand without dependency on the external operator.

BELIEVE OWNED

MAAS Partner Program

Certification operated by MAAS Institute. Trains agencies, consultants and freelancers as system architects. Five tiers. Sustained 30–40% failure rate.

Extension of the MAAS ecosystem. Not a franchise; a certification with strict curriculum and annual maintenance. Certified partners can operate MAAS installations under Believe supervision. The high failure rate is deliberate — installation quality sustains the MAAS brand, not partner volume.

03 · MAAS FRAMEWORKS

BELIEVE OWNED

Factor Be™

Real identity framework. Inner layer. Diagnostic that separates what the brand claims to be from what it is when nobody is watching.

First framework installed. Without Factor Be defined, the rest of the frameworks operate on inconsistent identity. Proprietary metric: unprompted brand recall + editorial share of voice.

RELATED: MAAS · Perception
BELIEVE OWNED

Persuasion Design™

Cognitive architecture of the message. Outer layer. Sequences the brain cannot ignore.

Structures how messages get designed at each touchpoint to neutralize specific objections at specific moments. Metric: conversion rate per surface.

RELATED: MAAS · Conversion
BELIEVE OWNED

Neuronarrative™

Narrative architecture framework. Structures how the customer's brain processes the brand for years.

Three levels: manifesto (what the brand believes), positioning (how it differentiates), operational messaging (what it says at each touchpoint). All three must say the same at different zoom levels. Metric: cross-touchpoint narrative coherence.

RELATED: MAAS · Narrative
BELIEVE OWNED

Brand Conversion Messaging™ (BCM)

Structure-of-the-converting-message framework. Defines the verbal architecture that turns attention into measurable purchase intent.

Operationalizes narrative for conversion. Matrices of message × cohort × funnel stage. Metric: time-to-decision per touchpoint.

RELATED: MAAS · Conversion
BELIEVE OWNED

Visibility to Value™ (V2V)

Attraction-with-purchase-intent framework. A visibility system that doesn't chase empty reach — every impression has conversion architecture behind it.

Converts discovery traffic into qualified pipeline through surface design that works as filter and accelerator simultaneously. Metric: SQL/visit per channel.

RELATED: MAAS · Conversion
BELIEVE OWNED

Design to Code™

Technical execution of the visual system. Operational layer. Translates design into functional code without loss of intent.

Pixel-perfect with system logic. The layer that ensures visual architecture survives technical implementation. Metric: visual drift between design and production.

RELATED: MAAS · Automation
BELIEVE OWNED

Design to Convert™

Applied conversion architecture. Every screen and every interaction is designed with one purpose: move the user toward action.

Applies Persuasion Design + BCM principles directly on interfaces and experience. Metric: CR per surface + drop-off per step.

RELATED: MAAS · Conversion
BELIEVE OWNED

Growth Loops™

Self-sustaining growth framework. Designs cycles where each acquired customer feeds the acquisition of the next.

Reduces dependency on incremental ad spend by building loops of organic referral, editorial retention, and partners. Metric: viral coefficient + organic referral rate.

RELATED: MAAS · Network
BELIEVE OWNED

Automation Goals™

Automation-with-purpose framework. We don't automate for efficiency — we automate so the system runs without human intervention on the repetitive.

Every automation has its own KPI and documented handoff. Metric: human/automated operation ratio per task.

RELATED: MAAS · Automation
BELIEVE OWNED

CRO Ongoing™

Continuous-optimization framework. The system never stops — measures, iterates, and improves every conversion point in perpetual cycles of compounding improvement.

Establishes experiment cadence and handoff to internal Growth team. Metric: quarterly compound lift.

04 · FIVE LAYERS

BELIEVE OWNED

Layer 01 — Perception

How you're seen before you say anything. Identity operated as data, not decoration.

First layer. Without operable identity, everything else is noise. Framework: Factor Be.

RELATED: Factor Be
BELIEVE OWNED

Layer 02 — Narrative

What you say and why it matters. A story that sustains years of output, not a slogan that lasts a quarter.

Second layer. Without coherent message, conversion is accident. Frameworks: Neuronarrative + Persuasion Design.

RELATED: Neuronarrative · Persuasion Design
BELIEVE OWNED

Layer 03 — Conversion

How you close. Persuasion Design installed across every contact surface.

Third layer. Without closing architecture, traffic is wasted. Frameworks: BCM + V2V.

BELIEVE OWNED

Layer 04 — Automation

How you scale without losing voice. Loops that produce output without the founder watching.

Fourth layer. Only scale what already works manually. Frameworks: Design to Code + Design to Convert + Automation Goals.

BELIEVE OWNED

Layer 05 — Network

How it sustains itself. Organic referral, editorial retention, partners. The brand grows through network density, not budget.

Fifth layer. Closes the system. Frameworks: Growth Loops + CRO Ongoing.

05 · ADJACENT TERMS

INDUSTRY TERM

Growth Marketing

Discipline that optimizes tactics within the funnel through rigorous experimentation.

Typical frameworks: AARRR, ICE, North Star Metric. Excellent for in-house teams managing experiments. It's a layer within Vibe Marketing — not its substitute.

RELATED: Vibe Marketing

Performance Marketing

Real-time optimization of paid-media auctions (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic).

Mature technical discipline. Metrics: ROAS, CAC, CPM, CPA. Assumes the brand has already decided what to sell and to whom — Vibe Marketing makes that decision above.

RELATED: Vibe Marketing · Growth Marketing
INDUSTRY TERM

AARRR

Growth marketing framework: Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, Referral. Full funnel map.

Coined by Dave McClure. Standard growth marketing vocabulary for managing experiments per funnel stage. It's shared vocabulary — not a complete brand methodology.

INDUSTRY TERM

ROAS — Return on Ad Spend

Paid-ad efficiency metric. Attributable revenue / advertising investment.

Primary metric of performance marketing. MAAS reports systemic ROAS — over multi-year cohort with N and window, not over individual auctions.

MAAS 90D — Manifestation as a System

Personal system by Jorge Beltrán Liévano under the NeuroRealidad brand. Distinct from Believe Global's MAAS.
